Job Description



Responsible for basic prep work behind the bar, including refilling ice bins, restocking liquor, replacing kegs, cutting garnishes and clearing away and washing empty glasses. Ensures bars and bar service areas supplies are replenished at all times. Ensures guest satisfaction, beverage quality and cleanliness. Has knowledge of bar supplies and common drinks being served.




Two years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience. Previous bar experience required. Customer service skills required.



  • Responsible for completing tasks related to stocking, replenishing, cleaning, maintenance and preparation of beverages under the guidance of the Bartender.
  • Maintains and stocks adequate supplies of bar items such as glasses, cups, napkins, drink supplies, condiments, etc.
  • Washes glasses and other serving equipment at bars
  • Stocks refrigerating units with wines, beer, replace beer kegs, etc.
  • Replenishes ice at bar
  • Cleans and polishes bars, counters, shelves, equipment, bar stools, etc.
  • Prepares food items needed in the preparation of drinks
  • Trash pickup and disposal at bar and bar service areas
  • Greets guests in a courteous and friendly manner.
  • Prepares bar for next shift, bringing all fruit and supply levels back to bar.
  • Provides fast, friendly, professional and responsive customer service to guests and servers.
  • Abides by all State, Federal and Company liquor regulations pertaining to alcoholic beverage service to minors and intoxicated guests
  • Responsible for ordering necessary supplies.
  • Completes assigned side work.
  • Must be knowledgeable on all health department regulations.
  • Must have valid food handler’s permit.
  • Must have valid title 4 training.
  • Must pass math exam.
  • Performs other related duties as required.
  • Must be able to lift in excess to 50 pounds and push or pull 100.
  • Must be able to obtain and maintain State/Tribal License (including extensive background check).
  • Must pass pre-employment drug test.






While performing the duties of this job, the employee is required to:


  1. Bend, reach, stand, twist and walk for 67-100% of work day.
  2. Eye/hand coordination and wrist motion for 67-100% of work day
  3. Crouch, jog, kneel and work in wet conditions for 34-66% of work day.
  4. While working on casino floor, employee is exposed to high level of second hand smoke and noise daily.
