Job Description


Assists guests checking in and checking out with luggage and provides other guest services, such as information about the Resort’s amenities such as the Casino, Restaurants, Golf, the fitness center, etc.


  • Directs the guest(s) to the Registration Desk, and unloads the luggage from the vehicle
  • Ensures the key and the guest’s rooming slip match
  • Accompanies the guest to the room using proper cart handling techniques at all times to insure the guest’s safety and to avoid damage to the luggage.
  • Inform the guest of the facilities, hours of operation, and offer to make reservations, as appropriate
  • Explains the proper use of the key system, entering ahead of the guest to insure the room’s readiness.
  • Assists guest with checkout by loading the cart with the heaviest luggage over the non-swiveling wheels at their guestroom
  • Checks the room for forgotten items
  • Remains with the luggage until the guest is ready to depart
  • Issues luggage claim checks for guests not leaving and stores luggage
  • Unloads the cart for the guest, placing the luggage in the automobile, taxi, etc


  • Minimum of a High School diploma or equivalency
  • One year experience as a bell attendant at a highly rated Resort, preferred
  • Must be able to speak and understand English



  • Must be able to sit, stand, see, hear, stoop, twist and walk
  • Must be able to lift in excess of 50 pounds and push or pull 100 pounds
