Job Description





Under the direction of the Facilities Maintenance Director, must be knowledgeable in all aspects of HVAC/R and the various related facilities maintenance to include plumbing, welding, heating and cooling.




Requires a minimum of four (4) years experience with Central Plant operations and trade school certification, and an EPA certificate in refrigerant handling.



  • Works under minimum supervision.
  • Assists in direction, scheduling and training of subordinates in the repair, testing and operation of facilities maintenance.
  • Uses the EMS (Energy Management System) computer as a tool in maintaining a satisfactory environmental atmosphere.
  • Orders parts and materials as needed.
  • Maintains an accurate log of expenditures and man hours expended.
  • Conducts routine inventory of parts and tools.
  • Ensures that safety practices are being followed and OSHA requirements are met.
  • Performs other duties as required.
  • Must be able to lift in excess 50 pounds and push or pull 100.
  • Must be able to obtain and maintain State/Tribal license ( including extensive background check).
  • Must pass pre-employment drug test.
  • Must be 21 or older.

  2. Exposure to electrical hazards for 34-66% of work day.
  3. Eye/hand coordination for 34-66% of work day.
  4. Exposed to dust/smoke for 34-66% of work day.
  5. Exposed to fumes/odors/grease/oil for 34-66% of work day.
  6. While working on casino floor, employee is exposed to high level of second hand smoke and noise daily.
