QUALIFICATIONS AND DUTIES:

 

  • Responsible for selling and servicing of space and activities at Fort McDowell Adventures
  • Responsible for driving group business to all FMA venues and achieving monthly and annual revenue goals.
  • Provides exceptional guest service to both external and internal guests by maintaining and exhibiting the Casino Resort We-Ko-Pa Way

  • Accountable to all standards set forth in the We-Ko-Pa Way Casino/Resort Service Culture Guide.
  • Responsible for developing and executing a sales strategy and maximizing revenue through creating unique events, programming and group dining experiences
  • Responsible for the food and beverage, entertainment revenue generation for FMA
  • Manages and oversees all aspects of the group events coordination
  • Responsible for bookings and managing substantial group sales
  • Develops & Promotes business through proactive direct sales, marketing, social media, outside sales & venue tours
  • Develops service techniques, policies and procedures
  • Creates sales blitz/incentives for off-peak season and when appropriate to drive additional revenues
  • Maintains a thorough understanding of the properties P&L, being able to manage within an approved budget
  • Works effectively as a team contributor on all assignments
  • Must be able to work flexible hours including; weekends & evenings when necessary
  • Performs other related duties as required. 
  • Develops service techniques, policies and procedures that exceed guest expectations
  • Attends networking events to further introduce FMA to potential clients
  • Responsible for coordinating with Vendors and catering teams regarding F&B, set/strike and billing
  • Must provide on-site representation at events as scheduled
  • Must be able to lift in excess to 50 pounds and push or pull 100.
  • Must be able to obtain and maintain State/Tribal License (including extensive background check).
  • Must pass pre-employment drug test.

 

EDUCATION AND/OR EXPERIENCE:

  • Bachelor’s Degree or Equivalent Experience required
  • 2-4 years of sales experience, hotel experience strongly preferred
  • Working knowledge of MS Word, Excel and Outlook. OPERA software experience is a plus
