QUALIFICATIONS AND DUTIES:

  • Under the direction of the Fortune Club Manager, assists in the operations of the Fortune Club.
  • Performs various assigned duties relating to promoting events, activities and special promotions.
  • Assists in training and aids in ensuring Club Staff adherence to policies and procedures at all times
  • Maximizes customer relations by maintaining a friendly, pleasant atmosphere for customers and staff.
  • Responsible for review of the exclusion in reference to new players and Fortune Club point policies and procedures to ensure compliance with compact regulations.
  • Must be knowledgeable in all aspects of daily, weekly and monthly promotions, rules, regulations and Club operations and VIP events
  • Must have exceptional customer service skills
  • Must be able to work flexible schedules, meet attendance standards and work long hours when necessary. Knowledge of 7 day work week, must work nights, weekends and holidays as needed
  • Must possess excellent oral and written communication skills and have the ability to exchange information clearly and concisely; present ideas, facts and technical knowledge effectively.
  • Must be able to effectively communicate with department staff, managers, guests and the general public
  • Must have a strong understanding of Casino guest market
  • Ability to establish procedures for the implementation of management directives
  • Ability to prepare reports, forms and other instructive information
  • Ability to maintain positive working relationship with department heads and the general public
  • Must have excellent organizational and leadership skills
  • Must be able to handle problems under pressure
  • Must maintain professional appearance and demeanor at all times
  • Must be able to oversee staff and provide training to carry out promotions
  • Must be able to perform effectively in a fast paced environment
  • Responsible for ensuring policies and procedures are being adhered to
  • Must be able to present ideas and facts and technical knowledge effectively.
  • Must be able to lift in excess of 50 pounds and push or pull 100 pounds
  • Performs other duties as required.
  • Must be able to obtain and maintain State/Tribal License (including extensive background check).
  • Must pass pre-employment drug test.

EDUCATION AND/OR EXPERIENCE:

  • High School Diploma
  • One to three years of guest service and hospitality experience in a gaming environment or equivalent combination of experience and education preferred
  • Previous supervisory experience preferred, 2 years minimum
  • Vast knowledge of Windows, Microsoft Word, Microsoft Power point , Microsoft Excel and CasinoTrac systems
