Job Description

Position summary:

Works under the direction of the Maintenance Supervisor in the repair and maintenance of the building during his/her assigned shift. Must be able to perform general repairs in the areas of carpentry, cabinetry, plumbing, and cosmetic painting repair. Must use proper tools and exercise good safety practices. Performs other duties as assigned. Must have valid Arizona driver license and cleared by the gamin center’s insurance carrier to drive company vehicles.

Job Complexity:

Will be required to work shift work. Must be knowledgeable in the repairs of various types of equipment. Under the direction of the carpenter must be able to perform carpentry duties and fabrication/installation of cabinetry. Must have knowledge of patching, plumbing, painting and maintenance of designated equipment. Must be able to operate a forklift. Will assist in maintenance projects at various other tribal enterprises as directed. Performs other duties as required. Must be able to work in a casino (smoking) environment. Must be able to perform active physical labor, including lifting up to 50 lbs.

Accountability: Shares in the responsibility of the proper maintenance of the establishment (plumbing, painting, carpentry, welding, etc.). Required to attend scheduled safety meetings.
