Job Description


Under the direction of the Marketing Operations Manager responsible for onsite and offsite managing marketing activities that include but not limited to promotions, concerts, VIP events, organizing giveaways, staffing and signage and logistical management of such events.  Reviews and maintains all proforma and postforma evaluations to their events, promotions etc. Exercises considerable judgment and initiative when reviewing and evaluating dept. needs, specifications and requests that pertain to all in-house and exterior signage, including in-house plasma/electronic signage, to also include all forms of direct mailers.  Maintains FMC marketing website.  Manages the entertainment program of exceptional quality preforming acts that will help to drive revenue and repeated visits. Works effectively with each department manager to ensure that the casino is reaching our customers to initiate repeat business.  Assists in the planning  and execution of Casino and VIP parties which may include selection of décor, decorations, menu and staffing of event as directed by the Marketing Operations Manager. Coordinating with different venues for specific VIP parties. Sources and maintains inventory for party and event supplies. Assists in all in-house promotions and events.  Supervises promotions and entertainment employees. Responsible for department budget expectations. Responsible for creation of all purchase orders/secure contracts (securing bids where applicable) for events/expos, as required. Performs other duties as assigned by the Marketing Operations Manager. Preforms all functions in accordance with applicable state, federal and other laws and gaming regulations.



Job Complexity:

Responsible for production, purchasing and obtaining bids for the implementation of all events and productions, printing, delivery of marketing materials, band relations, hotel transportation etc.  Coordinates and develops current and future promotions for on and off-site special events for the Casino to attract new patrons. Establishes and implements continued communication with expos/event personnel on assigned events. Responsible for promotion budgeting. Responsible for promotions folder maintenance, pre-forma and post-forma for events, promotions, and trade shows.  Works with-in budget expectations.    Responsible for promotional signage and all communication of various events to the customer and employees.  Coordinates with all other necessary marketing staff on scheduled events.  Must be flexible regarding work schedule as this position would require being able to work nights, weekends and holidays when needed. It may also require some travel. Must be able to stand for long periods of time. Must be knowledgeable in all areas of casino promotions, entertainment, events and customer incentives.



Must have excellent oral and written communication skills and be able to exchange information with others in a clear and concise manner, present ideas, facts and technical knowledge effectively. Preforms all functions in accordance with applicable state, federal and other laws and gaming regulations.


Bachelors in Business and 5 years of Marketing Experience.
