Job Description

QUALIFICATIONS AND DUTIES:

  • Responsible for keeping all lobbies and public facilities (restrooms, telephone/computer area, front desk, and offices) in a neat and clean condition to the standards required
  • Promotes a positive image of the property to guests. Be pleasant, honest, friendly, and be able to assist guests with requests and problems
  • Reports any damage or missing items to the Housekeeping Manager
  • Maintains equipment and work areas, including key security
  • Ability to deliver high levels of service with attention to detail
  • Demonstrates integrity and a strong work ethic
  • Must be able to work flexible schedules including evenings, weekends, and holidays
  • Must be able to communicate in English (read, write, speak)
  • Physical requirements necessary include walking, standing, bending, lifting, sitting, and reaching
  • Ability to work in moderately noisy work environment for long periods of time and communicate effectively in this environment
  • Must be able to lift a minimum of 50 pounds on occasion
  • Must be able to push or pull a minimum of 100 pounds
  • Must pass pre-employment drug test.
  • Performs other related duties as required

EDUCATION AND/OR EXPERIENCE:

  • High School Diploma or GED preferred
  • Minimum one year previous housekeeping experience
