Job Description

QUALIFICATIONS AND DUTIES:

  • Responsible for ensuring all standards of service and cleanliness is maintained by Room Attendants and Houseman
  • Reports all vacant and clean rooms to the Housekeeping Office
  • Responsible for the inspection of a minimum of 2-80 rooms per day
  • Ability to diplomatically deal with difficult situations and people, while exhibiting consistent level of professionalism
  • Reliable and responsible, with exceptional follow-up and attention to detail.
  • Exceptional service orientation, with a keen ability to focus and deliver on guest needs
  • Must be able to communicate in English (read, write, speak)
  • Must be able to work flexible schedules including evenings, weekends, and holidays
  • Ability to read, write, and verbally communicate effectively and professionally with other business departments, guests, and vendors
  • Ability to see, walk, stand, bend, lift, sit and reach overhead
  • Must be able to lift a minimum of 50 pounds on occasion
  • Must be able to push or pull a minimum of 50 pounds
  • Must pass pre-employment drug test.
  • Performs other related duties as required

EDUCATION AND/OR EXPERIENCE:

-High School Diploma or GED preferred

-Two to three year’s related experience and/or training as a Room Inspector

-Bi-lingual a plus
