OPEN POSITION:          SLOT CAGE COUNT-DROP CREW        PAY RATE:                  $14.21

DEPARTMENT:             Cage                                                    POSITION STATUS:       Full-Time

REPORTS TO:             Drop Crew Lead                                   OPEN DATE:         March 6, 2015

 

JOB SUMMARY:          

Immediate opening  in the Vault/Cage Department for Slot Drop/Count Crew, full-time.  Primarily responsible for the removal of cash from the slot machines, the scaling and wrapping of the coins/tokens, and the physical count of the money. Reports the results to the Slot Cage Supervisor for review. Accurate counts and security are of extremely importance.

 

REQUIREMENTS: 

  • Proficient at 10 key calculator.
  • Maintain high levels of accuracy.
  • Must possess above standard verbal and written skills.
  • Must be able to write legibly and display proficiency in basic mathematical skills.
  • Must be able to work days, weekends, and graveyard shift.
  • Work well under stressful time constraints.
  • Must be able to lift 100 pounds and push or pull 100 pounds.
  • Must be 21 years old or older.
  • Must be able to obtain and maintain State/Tribal License (including extensive background check).
  • Must pass pre-employment drug test.
  • Must pass math test prior to interview.

EDUCATION AND/OR EXPERIENCE: 

High School Degree/1 year cashier experience; or equivalent combination of education and experience. 

WORK CONDITIONS: 

While performing the duties of this job, the employee is required to: 

  1. Stand, walk, lift, twist, bend and reach for 67-100% of work day.
  2. Sit for 34-66% of work day.
  3. While working on casino floor, employee is exposed to high level of second hand smoke and noise daily.
