Job Description


Prepares and cooks quality food under the direction of the Executive Chef. Achieves guest satisfaction by giving excellent service and serving properly prepared food




  • Ability to work under pressure
  • Prepares and properly garnishes all banquet items, including appetizers, salads, desserts, specialty plates and entrees, in accordance with menu specifications
  • Prepares sauces, soups and hot entrees in accordance with menu
  • Presents food using proper plate presentation techniques
  • Organizes and maintains work areas, coolers and storage areas
  • Assists in developing banquet work check list for any banquets or special functions and organizes work stations, coordinating all hot and cold banquet food production
  • Returns food to proper stations after each function, ensures that kitchen is clean and maintains readiness for next banquet function
  • Maintains cleanliness and stocking of coolers and storage areas
  • Requisitions food with necessary approvals according to policy
  • Takes proper care of ranges, ovens, broilers, fryers, griddles, utensils and other equipment
  • Must have knowledge on all health department regulations
  • Must have valid Title 4 training
  • Must have a valid food handler’s permit
  • Performs other duties as required EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE
  • 3 years related experience of which a minimum of 2 years in a high volume kitchen operation

  • Must be able to sit, stand, see, hear, stoop, twist and walk
  • Must be able to lift in excess to 50 pounds and push or pull 100.Indian Preference:Preference will be given to qualified applicants who are members of federally recognized Indian tribes.
